How much benefits is smoothing out under the rear trunk of the car just forward of the rear bumper?
I have removed the rear trunk well (T-top well) of my 4th gen and there is a large void in front of the bumper. It looks like the bumper is hanging down like a scoop.
I am working on closing that up and fairing it in to the bumper.
Has anyone see any real difference (ET/MPH) with closing it up and fairing it in. It will probably cost about 15 to 20 lbs in aluminum to fair it in.

From my RR raceing experiance the only real mistake I see that you made was you did'nt extend it past the rear bumper a little. That's where the real benefit of a rear underbody comes in is when you cut the air off clean on the back of the car.

I made one really nice on my GTP. it went around the exhust tips in the rear bumper, like on a trans am. And had room for the muffler cases too, I posted some pics a few years ago here in another thread about this Demonicbird (Brandon) posted his he made with pics too.
