You looking for new I would assume. 18" foot is usualy the smallest you see car haulers in, I would guess you could get slightly shorter if you custom ordered one. You are going to need something on 15" tires and make sure the deck is bellow the tires or you will never get your car on it! This trailer is one we have at work and putting my friends Caravan on it I had to lift on the fender for it not to scrape. The deck hight is around knee high and WAY too high for a low F-body.

You may want to look into aluminum if you can afford it because you car and a steel trailer is going to easily be 4000#s. Your FJ should have no issues but the lighter the better for eccomomy and less stress on the truck.

Will you be pulling any mountians with the fj? And by the way most steel trailers are 1600 to 1800 lbs. and aluminum trailers are $$$.

Check out racingjunk.com and do a search on aluminum trailers. Brand new they are around $5000ish to start. They weigh around 1000-1200lbs.

I have an aluminum Featherlite. I love it, and haven't had a single problem with it in the year I've had it. I probably put every bit of 10k miles on it last year.

Right about 1400lbs, and I don't have a problem getting my lowered Camaro on or off. Not even close to scraping even with my Chrs1313 ram air installed.

i just bought a wally mo trailer for my trans am. it is a real nice trailer, as for straping the car down it has built in chains with 4 different kind of hooks witch makes straping the car down a breeze. also it has removable finders that might help if your car is real low

If you are pulling over mole hills you will not want your Growler and car to weigh more then 4000 and preferably less. Other wise you will be sitting on the side of the road quick. Your FJ isn't really ment to haul more then a lawn tractor.

You could swap a 6.0 and a 4l80e and be ready to go!!!
