Default Those running 275 Hoosier Drag Radials

I'm about to make my first passes on a new pair of tires & I wanted to know air pressure to start with on these tires, car weighs 3700 with me. I've never had a brand new set of drag tires either so I hope for a better 60'. Any info you have to share would be very much appreciated.

At that weight, probably 18 to 19. Usually the lightweight cars are in the 17 lb range with them.

I know technically you're not supposed to, but how do the Hoosiers drive on the highway? How do they compare to M/T's or M&H's as far as top end stability?

I've driven on the street with them & they feel just like any other radial tire to me.

Interesting. I was concerned that cause they are so much lighter than M/T's and M&H's, and they fact that they aren't DOT, that they would feel more like an ET Street bias ply.

How about wear? About the same as the others, or worse?

I had a wore out set of the Good Year radials but they weighed 1 pound less than the hoosiers.
