update. problem solved, added another derale cooler/fan combo to the exisiting one i had.

so now that i have two. i can roast around in this 105 degree weather and i can not get my temps to pass 180. fans always on. I have them mounted under the t-top holder on the bottom of the car, will try to snap a pic soon. hope u get ur issues figured, these th400s need to be cooled well if u plan on street driving them.

That's great. Mine is still running hot. Going to pick up a press gauge tonight to check pressure while driving.
Edit: I ordered a gauge tonight hopefully have it here by this weekend.
I am under the impression that the pressure for a th400 with a RMVB and a TB should be 180-200 in all gears. Is this correct?

Well the pressure is normal, I got 200 at idle and around 205 at full throttle. So I am lost at what to do from here. I am debating on a new converter and transmission but a different set up all together. 4l80e time.
I have the 3.5 gear that I will be installing but it did the same thing with a 26" tire and 3.23 gear. It pretty much has to be a converter.
