Ya back when the car was a DD I couldnt stand the chassis mounted TA. Now it just pretty much goes to the track or to a car show here or there.
Larry doing my best to go. Lookin pretty crappy out but seems like good air!
Sean Im in Arlington Heights.
Oh and the yoke looked fine for those wondering still.

Didnt make it to the track but everything is installed.
I think I had the PA all messed up b4. Im thinking it was slamming the front down instead of up and forward and that was killing first gear causing all the issues.
I now set it off the engine and trans angle vs the rear end angle. I came up with positive 1 on the engine and trans (checked both), then went negative 3.5 on the rear.. = neg 2.5. Looks to me like when the tires rotate forward it should make the trans and rear line up now and push forward rather then slam the front right back down after launch.
Also put the LCAs in the middle hole on the relos. They still slightly slope down towards the rear.
sound right to you guys?

Yes that sounds good. The point that I was trying to make with leveling the chassis is that it is much easier to set the PA. If the chassis is sloped, and you add incorrectly, the car wont work at all. Once you make a couple of passes with it set that way, you can figure out if you need to adjust the lca's or the front mount of the TA. Hopefully it'll make a big improvement. I would take a set of bias ply's also. Then you'll be able to tell if it is just a "cant hook the DR problem". Good luck, keep us posted.

Most definitely. They will usually slip some in 3rd, and worse in 4th (more load/lb). They will almost never slip in 1st/2nd. The more the hp or more the weight, the worse it is. X1000 on tire slip or clutch slip. Normally with a bad 60', you will get a BETTER MPH than a pass you hooked great on.
