Driveshaft safety loop recomendations?

But don't want to buy it if its just a POS flimsy thing that doesn't fit right or hits the driveshaft. Anybody use this one? How critical is a stiff tunnel brace for drag or road racing applications? The stock one is very flimsy, and Im looking to really stiffen up the chassis. I am going to be getting Midwest Chassis 2 point SFCs too. Its between this $40 one from JEGS or one from BMR or UMI, but dont want to spend the extra $80 if it isnt absolutely necessary. Also considering the Midwest Chassis one for $90, but it looks like it doesnt add any rigidity to the chassis either. Im running a 3.5 inch Chromoly driveshaft.

No they are light, nhra/ihra certified. They bolt around the driver shaft if you dont want to pull the drive shaft off to install it. Its very flat and keeps ground clearance and goes above the exhaust so you dont get that annoying rattle from the exhaust bouncing down on the loop.

I did have to move my transmission tail shaft over one bolt hole to the right in the mount to get the DS to clear the loop but thats where the tailshaft sat natually so no big deal.

most are 15-19 pounds thats alot.I have the BMR one, clears my full lenghts TA, and my 4inch Ypipe, just had to grind a little 45* were the Y pipe in tubes were close. So it hads 1/4-3/8 room and never hit.
