Default AN Fittings Jegs or Aeroquip

Need to plumb my Super Victor.
Are the Jegs brand AN Fittings as good as the Aeroquip, Russell, Earls?

We use Fragola from Summit...LOTS less on the $ side, good quality. Look up the pt numbers, then do a search on Summit. They seem to always have what we need.

If you can get your hands on the last issue of Hot Rod magazine, they've got a great comparison of AN fittings. Should be the September issue. I don't think they had the Jeg's brand but they did have Summit as well as Fragola and several others.

I use the Summit brand. only issue I have had was binding up, we started to use their Nickle plated fittings and have not had a single problem. We use them on almost every car now. Easy on the budget and look great too

using the jegs fittings with the racers discount they offer is nice. never had a problem with any of their fittings or hose. My WHOLE car is plumbed with it.

XRP is the best i've used, the difference in these fittings is gonna be the life span, i've bought some cheaper fittings only to replace them because they start to bind when trying to remove them.

^^^^^ This

You will find quite a difference in fittings and will see Earl's priced right with larger orficies (oh yes, and made in the USA!)...I use a lot of AN stuff and the article changed my buying habits. FWIW

Alot of the AN fittings are all made at the same place. I myself have all black jegs fittings on my car.

I've used them all. The only fittings I've ever had issues with were EARLS hose ends.

I always use just a tiny bit of engine oil from the dipstick since its always within reach. I have been using Russell hose and fittings for years and never had a problem.
