Question Th400 shields, covers, ultra bell, etc. ?

So an Ultra Bell can leak, and you still need a blanket...
what's the easiest way to pass tech that is not at PITA to install?

I was looking at this, will it fit in an fbody?

What are you guys running?

Thank you

never had a leak on my ultra bell or in any of my buddies cars. Then just run a blanket or the drum shield.

I use the csr shield, but I'm running a truck so there seems to be plenty of room. One thing that I did not like about it is that you have to run the vent line down, which limits you on vent tank mounting.

Well it turns out the CSR is out of stock everywhere...
So should I wait a few weeks or go with something else?

I would just do a blanket. I have the car shield on my th350 and it is a tight fit so I would imagine the th400 will be more difficult. The supershield is a really nice piece but it is just a pain to work around in an fbody.

Will that take care of drum area and flexplate area? Which blanket is good? Thank you.

I guess if I go blanket I need to fix my little oil leak on the front that keeps everything "rust-proofed"

I've got one at the shop. Ordered 2 a year ago. 1 came in a few days, other showed up 4 months later.

Shoot us a call.

Are they hard to get in with a jack and jack stands?

Since I don't need the fexplate shield until 9.99 I'm thinking of just going with a blanket. I'll never be in the 9's for years and years.

Or is the CSR not as bad to put in as google suggests? Should I still go for the extra safety of the full CSR?
