Default dash pad and 10pt

So I came up with the bright idea of leaving the dash pad in and fitting the bars that way.....AFTER I already welded the cage in Im guessing my next option is to section the dash pad because Im not seeing any other way to install it with the bars in there already. What has everyone else done to get it back in or were you guys with cages smart enough to have the pad in before the bars are put in?

Pull the window, install then reinstall window, but my pad went in after the cage with the window in no issue, just flex it some

^^^ Your cage probably fits the car tighter. Removing the windshield is really the best way, but these extension panels are very prone for cracking. It really depends on how much sunlight the car has seen over the years.

yea, I don't think im going to be able to get my back in without cutting it or pulling the windshield. doubt I go through that much trouble though. Im thinking about cutting 6" to a 1' off on side, sliding it in and refastening it.
