Finally got the cage finished. Been awhile since I did an update on her. I have been deployed to Afghanistan so far for 2 months and still have 4 to go, but I am still buying parts for her for when get home. So far the newest parts I have gotten are

Kooks cool black coated 2" headers
2 borla XR-1 mufflers
TH400 x-member
brute speed water pump designed for use with the F1A
Alky control meth kit
F1A procharger
All piping black powder coated and also upgraded t-bolt clamps with truck inlet hat
aster bracket

Not a whole lot of parts but almost done with buying everything. Can't wait to get home and finish the build and fire her up

Still in Afghanistan for another 2 months but finally received the transmission today, it is a PTC powerglide with 1.80 cut gears, Reid case with roller tail. Last 2 components to order are TC and DS. Also got the intercooler and other small misc. parts.

Got me a 10" custom converter from PTC, 3400 stall

Last few parts is a DS which I will measure and order when I get home and a parachute w/ mount from MWC

Thanks, just talked to Brian at LME and he said I should receive my motor right before I get home from this craphole in two weeks, then the real fun begins with the build.

I arrived back in the states about 4 days ago. Since then I received the motor from LME and it made 592HP N/A at 9.6:1. Today I bolted the trans to the engine, installed solid motor mounts, nitrous outlet water vapor kit and also installed k-member. Tomorrow should put headers on and then put motor in car.

No the original plan was a 427 but ended up going with a 402

Got a lot more done today, installed headers, shimmed starter, water pump, procharger pulley and best of all put engine back in car for the first time in a year.

Today got a bit more done, installed intake, finished running fuel lines, wired oil, water and trans temp sensors, put on tensioner, water vapor kit, trans dipstick and installed strut, spindle and brake on right side.
