Just weighed Trans Am power leather seats with bathroom scale--didn't see specifics for these on the list.
Rear seats and seat belts (including all hardware) - 33 lbs.
Front seats (driver is 4 lbs. heavier than passenger) - 90 lbs.

I just grinded my rear brake calipers to fit prostars and it looks like about a half pound of metal on the garage floor now. LOL
i have a set of ET drags and a set of M/T drag radials for the 15" prostars, the drag radials feel like they wiegh twice as much as the ET drag. dont have exact weight #'s yet.

The sound deadening in my TA weighed 45.0lbs. I took all of the seats out, loosened and took out the front and back plastic panels. Took out the center console. I was albe to leave in the 2 side plastic pieces where the speakers mount. The car is louder, but it was worth it!

this list should be expanded out to include mods that add weight, like nitrous, beafy rear, roll cage, etc. that way people know what they need to compensate for. Looks like i need to loose a total of almost 200lbs just to be at stock weight.
Added weight:
+30-40..Nitrous
+85......Moser 9" rear with truetrac
+10......Beafy Steal driveshaft
+50-80..Rollbar/cage

I just have a bit of info and a question...
First the question... How much do Bogarts Front Runners weigh including the lugnuts?
Now for the info... A Front Runner from Weld... The PRO Magnum 2.0 in a 15x3.5 weighs in at a wopping 7.0 lbs alone, 7.5 with the required spacer and lugnuts

14 more lbs gone.
Connections where front bumper supports connect were cut off

Misc wiring, massaged front bumper underneath.

I would guess my curb weight at 2825 now?

I didn't make it all the way through this thread. I read "only" 7 pages, but I've seen the passenger side airbag weighed at 13.5 and 14 lbs.
I just took mine out of my '94 Z28 and I'd swear that sucker was nearly twice that! Either there has been a change in the airbags and the earlier ones were heavier, or I need to get back to the gym and get my arm strength back up!
I guess I should weigh mine before I go babbling in this thread, but in case I forget, where is that 14 lbs figure coming from?
Has someone else weighed the passenger airbag out of a '94, or at least an LT1-era car?
One additional weight savings is the "pad" under the dash. I left mine out when I put the dash back together and that's at least another 5 lbs of savings.

I just read through this whole thread for the first time.
I saw the stock z28 hood weighs 50 pounds. The OEM SS hood weighs a little more. The vfn fiberglass hood weighs only 18 pounds.
What about the SLP ultra Z hood? Is it close to the vfn? I'm sure it's a good deal less than the stock hood.
