Heater core etc done.
Right around 40 -45 lbs once you add in the heater core, a/c/ heat ducting, a/c panel, misc hoses under hood etc.

Looks like my bird is comfy in the 27XX's now

I just put my skinnies on, and let me say....I feel a huge difference in acceleration compared to my 245's up front. It was crazy! I can't even tell they are on there.

The section under your airbox....that can be cut off. Just use common sense when cutting, ask yourself if you are going to hurt anything or lose integrity by cutting something out.

I just took almost 100lbs off my car today.

when i weighed things i found that the back seats weight 24lbs, and the spare tire and jack 37. and everything else weighed what it said.

Weighed the rear 1/4 speakers, monsoon amp, and sail panel speakers, and any accompanied bolts, 10lb exactly on a Tanita digital scale.

Okay I've been searching this thread but no luck.

Anyone with Stock weights for our cars? Specifically an '00 T/A (not ws6).
My 2001 T/A has a curb wieght of 4200lbs, bone stock.

I want to shave weight like mad, but its my dail driver... even in the winter some times.

Might have to just stick with pulling out the spare and the jack for now....

Thats not true at all. The 3800 series 2 V6 weighs only slightly less than the aluminum LS1.

Did you weigh that car to get that number? I'm pretty sure that it wasn't possible to option a 4th gen up to that weight....

This has been a great thread to read. I am a cashier manager at home depot. Today I offered to work outside in garden as a cashier. I have only had 5 customers all day. I have been on my sidekick reading this thread and it has made time pass rather quickly. I am going to really lighten my car up this weekend as I have 4 days off. I am going to strip the sound deadning, ac, front and rear bumper supports, and maybe power steering. Anyone have a write up of pulling the bumper supprots and powersteering?

My fully optioned T/A WS6 weighed 3580 with a system and a completly full tank of gas. There is no weigh an fbody weighs 4200 pounds. I think you are looking at that thing on your door, which is not your curb weight. Thats your gross weight. I am looking to get my car down to 3200 without me in it. Shouldnt be that hard I dont think.
