Strip that baby down to the unibody dig a pit in the back yard and acid dip it like they did in the sixties.Pensky's TransAm Z28 camero had a vynal roof to cover the holes from where they left it in the pit to long,but that baby was light.

If I took my car to MTI, could they put my car on a Jenny Craig diet and remove a couple hundred more pounds? It weighs 3400 w/o me in it, but it has a CI block, T400 and big blower.

Here is some stuff I weighed up on a VERY accurate scale today:
HVAC/Blower Motor: 20.5 lbs
Dash: 11 lbs
Sound Deadening and padding: 12 lbs
Drivers side carpet: 8 lbs
Passanger Side carpet: 7.5 lbs
Passanger Air Bag: 14.5 lbs
Misc duct work/tubing: 6.5 lbs
Cross bar & brackets: 7.0 lbs
Note: Carpet is cut about 5 inches behind rear set bolts.

I weighed my Meziere EWP and the stock WP today on our digital shipping scale at work, here are the numbers:
Meziere - 15 lbs. 3 oz.
Stock - 12 lbs. 12 oz.
So 2lbs. 7 oz. heavier! The 8-12 rwhp gain is nice though!

I have the passenger side airbag on my list but I've been avoiding it by removing other things. I also bought some light weight seats. I've been trying to find out if there is an easy way to remove the airbag also.
