Default Looking For Lightest 16" Wheels - Ideas

I'm looking at a bunch of different options. It seems that unless you go with 15" convos or traditional series Welds, you can't find lighter rims!

What have any of you guys found? Any relatively light 16s?? Listed below is what I've found so far - go figure!! My 17x11 TTII's are just a couple lbs heavier than 16x8 ProStar XP's!! Jeeezzz!

Wheel Size Wt
Stock 16x8 19.5
5 Spoke ZR1 17x9 20
TT II 17x9.5 22.5
TT II 17x11 24.5
ProStar XP 16x8 22
ProStar XP 15x9 20

A stock 16x8 firbird wheel is the LIGHTEST 16 I've found so far!!

I think the 93-96 LT1 Z28 veggie cutters are the lightest.

Does anyone know how much the salad shooter type wheels weigh? ALso, did they come one all the Camaros or just the Z28s? I am getting a pair to moung some BFG DRs on, how much weight will be saved over my stock 2002 WS6 wheels? Thanks.

The salad shooters are ugly as sin though. Go pick up a set of 16 inch firbird take offs.
Cheers,
Chris

You can get the Firebird take-offs from SLP for $50 each.
-------------
I'm trying to find a compromise (that doesn't seem to exist!! In an ideal world, I'd find some 17x11's for the rear (315 nittos) - matching 16x7's for the front - and some 16x8's for the rear (E/T streets).

This way I could run around all day without the E/T's but take them with me and just swap them out when I run on the juice!
------------

Yea, I know, good luck! I'll end up with a separate set of race wheels (ProStars or Convos) and just jam 4 wheels with me everytime I go racing!!

Sorry for venting!

How about these wheels?

'97-'99 Chrome 5 spokes Z28
VS.
'00+ silver 10 spoke Z28 rims
