It took me a while to get that. I do not always fix my flaws but I do recognize them!

I wish I would have done those Afco brackets and upper bearing. So much better than the stud and rubber bushing.

You are getting their. Small things are going to make big difference on how the chassis works. Keep it up and stay focused.

Rear hatch is 86 pounds! Rear window is 40/41lbs. Optic armor is 11. About 30 pound savings. Ive had a hard time getting a good front weight percentage since I switched to the aluminum block. I bought this window a while ago and finally got around to it.

Be curious if you swapped back to iron block if it would settle the wheelies down.

Good updates, and like seeing your posts. I am getting ready to touch a 7.99 @ 3800lbs , ran a 8.140 two weeks ago, and its been nothing but rain here lately.

The optic armor is a nice upgrade for sure....Just a fyi myself and others have had to scew/ bolt them in.
The bottom side doesn't like to stay in place with just window glue.
Its hard to see but the best pic i got.

The guy that I sold it to and I laugh about this all of the time. I spent $5,000 on a block over the old $2,400 to have problems haha. Im such an idiot sometimes haha.

I seen you had posted on a facebook page somewhere. ITs riding man! You are almost there!!

Yes, we are getting the left overs of your guys storms here in michigan. Nothing but cool rainy days for the past couple weeks. Frustrating! This is crunch time for us! Winter is approaching.

Thank you. I was concerned with that. I wasnt wanting it to look lexan-ish is why I waited so long to do it. I suppose Ill drill a couple small holes and screw it. I definitely dont want it to come off.

I weigh everything before it goes into the car! Thats how it is 3,003 race weight with me right now. Still with all of cd player, passenger bucket, power window.
I can pull passenger seat and door panels and knock out 50 right there.

I think that is really light. Especially for having a stock width rear axle and bmr extreme arm. If I end up keeping the car I might get a narrowed MWC axle and tq arm. This tq arm is double the weight of the MWC.

We have been getting non stop rain for two weeks. Following it is a cold front. I have a 3 day track event set up for this weekend. I am praying it goes well with the weather so I can get it down.
Im feeling pretty good after switching the shocks. Menscer guys have made me feel confident with how the car acted that shocks will resolve it.
Im hoping. They were $1,290 with the brackets and t bar stuff lol

I should have bought them long ago. For whatever Reason I am really cheap when it comes to certain things. So I had to work at it for 3 months and waste most of the summer before I finally realized I was just spinning my wheels.

Your car is defiantly gonna benefit from those. I just cant help but wonder how much your fighting chassis flex.
You make the power to get you in the high 4's for sure.

Where are you going this weekend to race? Few of us are headed to Cordova if the rain holds off.

Im sure its moving quite a bit. There isnt a lot of chassis work. Home made subframe connectors. I welded steel for the control arm mounts etc. ITs really a pretty simple car. I built it for 8.99 lol
If all works as I believe it will I think itll go 4.80s without anymore work. 145-146 mph while lifting or pedaling a couple times before the 330.
