I shouldnt even have wasted the fuel. But I ran some ignite red through the car to give me a larger window for when I start really leaning on the car.
The way the car still twists on the line Im ditching that piece of **** mwc bar for a TRZ Girth Brooks. Im wondering if trying to leave as hard as I was at the sub optimal track conditions. one side of the car seperating and the other squating a bit due to that weak *** bar.
I was told Id receive a new one about 6 weeks ago but it hasnt arrived yet. so **** it. Ill throw it in the trash where it belongs.

That's not f*cking good. You had such good luck with your last engine. I wonder why that happened on such a fresh engine

I either stretched a rod bolt or the mains are moving around and lacking oil to that journal.
the entire set of mains are reusable. 5 of the rod bearings look like new. One is starting to go, one is ruined of course, and the one next to it.

Yeah sorry I got confused with the timeframe of which engine you had. Well that makes it a bit better, but still there's an oiling issue. You didn't notice abnormally low oil pressure at any time or anything? You should also swap out oil filters very often on these things. I change mine every 1500 miles or so in both my ls1 cars. Because ive noticed the filters block too easy and start to lose oil pressure. Not sure what size filter you have but the stock type are too small but changing them very often works.

Oil pressure was the exact same at hot idle when it broke as when it was on first start up. 25 psi.

The oil filter and oil has been getting changed every two weeks. sometimes with 50 miles. sometimes with 300 miles.
There are signs of main cap movement. Which is what feeds the rods.
I spun quite a bit at the last track outing and hit 8,770 a couple times on accident. Im going to measure all of the rod ends and bolts for stretch.
It just went 155 to the 1/8th. On a 5.2 pass while spinning at 1 second out. 32 psi of boost. I figured if I couldnt et Id atleast get some bigger boost data for the first time.
No biggy. **** happens. Its been doing good. Everything will be here by weds to replace and get balanced. Ill have it running next weekend. With a new converter and a few odds and ends.
