What hooks best, M&H, Hoosier, BFG, or MT?
I just got my new D10s and I'm looking to run the baddest 26" drag radial on them. I'm going for the MT 1572 front, but what's the best for a 15x10" wheel? M&H, BFG, MT, Hoosier? Thanks.

[QUOTE=Dear John] I've heard these M&Hs are awesome? [QUOTE]
The M&H's are very predictable tires..They will hook on just about anything including the street..I just mounted my second set of 275/50/15's which the first set lasted 3 months and 2500 miles of everyday use..I put 75 passes on them at the track with a best 60' (1.58) at 21 PSI @ 1500' Elevation and a worse of a 1.64 @ 3045'..
I was never able to get in good air so hopefully by the time the Southern Shootout comes around maybe our air will also..
I was going to try a set of the new MT Drag Radials but these tires have performed way past my expectations and are much better on the street then the MT ET Streets..

I have used 315 BFG DR's a lot in the past, and recently went to M&H racemaster "cheater slick" (only 2 grooves). They hook a TON better than the BFG's...I have tried MT ET Streets with not great success, switched to a MT ET Drag and it was TON better. I would say that the M&H and MT ET Drag are about even...all of these were 26 inch.
Make sure to get the racemaster cheater slick not the more street oriented ones!!! I paid about $370 for the pair shipped from CA. I would get the M&H again, but MAY try the MT ET Drag Radial in 275 (unless they do 315) on my 17 X 11 Boyds (have M&H on weld prostar XP 16 X 8.5)....supposed to be great hooking tires.

Hmm, so the M&H cheater slicks are bad *** huh? I would like to run radials(MT DR, and 1572 up front), but the weight savings is sick going from radials to slicks. I did the math and slicks save 24lbs all around from radials. What do you guys think? Radials or DOT slicks for the street?

here we go again. did you do a search?lots of info on tires.i have tried et-streets and et-drags and they don't hook well(atleast for me and a few friends they did'nt).i then borrowed a tire from a friend i've never heard of called m&h racemaster, they were the 305/40/16 musclecar drag on lt1 16''rims.this tire was 5-years wornout old and it helped me cut a 1.59 60foot(m6)and it pulled my front tires off the ground(stock f1 front tires)just think what a new set will do.yes, the M&H racemaster hooks like a ****. i now own two sets of m&h tires,#1the musclecar drag and#2the 26x11.6x16 cheeter slick.these tires hook on the street and track, you'll love them. i am going to try my buds hooseirs this summer so i can give my thoughts on them too. goodluck to ya.
