Where the hell is the video for this run?????
DAMN that is awesome fast. Congrats ARE

News flash everybody.... Tony started a thread about ARE doing something good . That would not have happened six months ago. Of couse six months ago ARE didn't have the great sleeved block they have now and six months ago Tony didn't have the block problems he has now and can't seem to get them fixed. I can hear the vacume being pulled between Houston and Ontario as I read this thread. Let the suckup job begin!!! LOL
I love it!!!!!

Awesome guys, you are tops . No matter who makes it there next and how, they will always be second I wish I could have got out there today. Well done
A few notes:
This is a two year old block and as a matter of fact the very same block that came out of Wade's C5 when he ran 9.25. ARE long ago solved the problem of leaking blocks.
The car is stock suspension and mounting points narrowed rear end and no tub. Shocks are HAL, 9" rear ens and it has a BMR Torque arm
The engine is re-sleeved aluminum 4.100" Bore 4.000" stroke, This is the very same block they produce for their customers and there is nothing special about it.
The block is not filled.
The Block is and LS1
The car weighs between 3200-3400
Yes it is a solid roller
These guys know how to tune NOS

Geez guys...I was assuming that it was an iron block for nitrous. Why don't you post the specs of the car? This was in no way an assult on ARE. I have an ARE block in my car so lay off.

The mile to buck factor was way out of wack on that one for sure. Good to see a better quality product coming out of there now. BTW what does that beast run on the motor?

I meant no assault towards anybody. I can only tell you what I know.
The motor is a re-sleeved aluminum block 422 LS1, solid roller with 1 stage of direct port Nitrous. It has custom stepped headers, dual exhaust, LS6 intake, LS6 heads, no AC (windows are fine at 150+ ), a stock PCM, fuel cell and bigger injectors The driveline is a 2spd glide, chrome moly shaft, 9" ford rear end narrowed not tubbed, hooked up to a stock suspension, they are also waiting on a TH400 trans for later. ARE also runs their custom chrome moly K-Frame up front.
Beyond that the car wieghs about 3250 and sounds mean as hell when your standing beside it.
I hope that answers most of your questions.
