I hope thats it for suspension questions! There's only so many ways to describe Stock Suspension!!

But yet have the same mount on the frame...so wouldn't the LCA have a weird angle pointing inward toward the pumpkin?

meaning it isn't parrallel to the original welded bracket from gm?

That wouldn't hurt anything or it wouldn't bind?

Im not saying you aren't stock suspended....just tryn' to find out how that couldn't effect anything. Maybe i need to read a bit into a chassis book

Well if the LCA's front and back are moved over a bit I see no real advantage but if the shocks are moved that might be a different story.

So is the Silver ZED hooking great or do you guys plan to run a W at some point?

I hope it doesn't seem like i'm debating with you on what stock suspension is, i'm just trying to learn WHY you would move that mount in.

I just dont know why and would like to know...if you dont want to tell me because its a chassis secret you learned or something thats fine, im just trying to expand my knowledge

I guess stock suspension is Interesting!

The shock mounts, spring perches are untouched.

The LCA's are moved to the other side of the frame mount point, using the same bolt hole still, just on one side only. The other hole is drilled into the existing frame right beside it. Its moved about 2 or 2.5 inches in. The LCA's are still straight to the rearend.

I can get a price on doing this if anybodys interested, but the car will have to come up to our shop.

Guys the car competes in "true street" and needs to pass true street rules and inspection to be able to compete. It is definitely stock style suspension.
cheers,
Chris

Dave,

Would it be possible for you to post a pic so we all could get a better frame of reference?

Chris:

Curious, what size tire are you running? 28x10.5" or larger?

I think it is a 28x10x15 Non "W" ET Drag. You would have to ask Sled, Wade or Barry for sure but I think that is what it is.
thanks,
Chris
