Default I just think this is funny.

Below is my EXACT timeslip from the track the other night. I am on the left in my stock A4 LS1, and on the right, is a newer Civic with a HUGE wing, a fart can, and a body kit. Oh, and some guages.

R/T... .853 / .699 Got me there
60'... 2.152 / 2.625
330'.. 5.904 / 7.492
it gets better
1/8.. 8.931 / 11.415
MPH.. 82.00 / 63.67
1/4.. 13.624 / 17.612 Damn...4 sec. diff.
MPH.. 103.44 / 79.05

This guy didn't have any stickers, so he couldn't beat me. Otherwise, he probably would have smoked me. Just thought that was funny guys.

It just looks sad to me...

What I don't like about that, is knowing that track officials are jackass' at more than my normal track! You'd THINK, in the interest of saving time, which they're(announcers) often complaining about, they'd pair up the 16+ second cars with LIKE cars and allow the quicker cars to race each other. It gives the racer a reason to concentrate and saves the track much time.

RANT COMPLETE!! Sorry

Are u happy that your stock ls1 runs almost the same quarter mile as a stock s2k which is 13.8 101. Thats something to be proud of. Someone with 40-50 more hp and 150 ft lbs of torque should be doing better than that right? Why would u even post something like that. Would u want me to put my quarter mile times up to yours my mid 10' to your almost 14's. Thats pathetic, it doesn't matter how many cubic inches r how many cylinders u have for instance, rotary which is equivalent to a 1.3 liter pushes out over 600hp. Which would be the same as 3000hp on a big block. As u can see motors r getting smaller and smaller becuase people see the same potential as a 1.8 to 5.7

those are two completely different cars.
If a LS1 camaro weighted as much as a s2000
im sure it would run 12 flat.

Weight should not even play a part in this. Why would u even race a 3500+ car. The liters and cylinders all average out at the end. Thats what makes them more fun to drive.

Oh I'm not giving him a hard time, I'm just having fun tryng to make some points. If he wants to put a stock civic up and praise himself for beating it than let him be. All I'm saying is that don't pick the sh...iest one and then bash it. I don't go around posting times about how I beat a cavalier

25psi- What car do you drive? Why talk all the smack? Obviously your car can't run with a s2k stock since you modded it with a turbo/charger and who knows what else. Am I right with my claim? Let me/us know...

Hondakiller u make some strong arguerments. So for example I've spent less than 8000 on my 94 supra and have a 10 sec car. And these r 3 liters. They have pushed these motors to 1500hp. And for your info I cant think of the tuners name in Dallas but he has pushed a 4 cyl past the 1200 hp

supras are the exception rather than the rule. any motor that can make well over 600rwhp on the stock bottom end certainly should be respected. supra motors (2jz-gte or something), the 4g63 and the sr20det are good japanese motors but with the exception of the 4g63 the cars they come in either arent here or cost a bundle. i know supra parts are expensive and import parts in general are expensive as hell which is sad because most dumb kids will pay for it because its got a greddy symbol or something silly like that on it. 200 dollars for a cold air intake? 600 dollar single outlet 2.25 inch piping catbacks? but thats another story. like i said yes small motors can be built to make a lot of power but itll cost ALOT and it will still be outperformed by a larger motor. for example, what do the fastest all motor hondas run? it certainly isnt a little b16 or a 600cc bike engine. its a bored out h22. btw, what do you have done to your supra to make it a ten second car?

Greddy(t88), hks fuel rail 720cc, hks fuel pump, hks 272in,ex cams. Some other minor things. All this is done with less than 8000.

LS-1:
Heads: 1200
Cam Kit: 700
Headers: 700
Cat-Back: 300
A-4: 1600
Converter: 1000
Tuning: c.500
Injecters: 700
Fuel Pump: 500
7200 dollars and I've seen this rather typical setup run mid to high tens. And, it leaves you 800 to play with nitrous. It costs how much to get what? Four add ons for the Supra? And you still had to change out the twin turbo set up to get impressive power? Oh well, to each his own. To be honest, it's ok with me that the Supra may have potentially more power than my firebird. I bought the Trans-Am brand new, if I had wanted a Supra, I would have bought one. As far as Hondas go. I was down at MIR for the Import Domestic shootout. The big draw was a completely gutted, ten point cage,Fat slicks up front, skinnies in the rear, one seat "supersport" civic. Oh yeah! with a wheelie bar. Guess what it ran? Mid tens. Honda power YAY!!!
