Default Speedinc carpet question

Is the uncut version of their lightweight carpet cut out for the console? I'd like to ditch the whole center console and was just wondering..

The uncut version is cut out for the console. Even the uncut version which is the only version they offer now requires very little cutting.

In case you werent aware, you could of bought the Year 1 carpet. I believe it weighs a pound or 2 lighter than the Speed Inc. carpet and is cheaper as well.

hey kev i'd email tom and ask him if there's anyway he can have yours made without the console part cut out, ya never know, it might not be a big deal for him to do that.

no biggie sean, I dont want to wait and the console is a good place to store the tire gauge and shoe polish The carpet in here is looking pretty sad plus it still has all the padding on it so its time to replace it..

TwoFast4Lv: Its under the racer's corner in the middle of the page.

Chris ARE 385: I bought the Speed Inc. carpet a couple months back and it was cut for the console, so more than likely yours was too.

Even if you get the uncut version it's still cut for the console. I asked them to not cut the console out on mine, and they happily obliged.

Go to Speed Inc.'s main page, click on racer's corner, then in the middle of the page is the carpet. There is no picture. Here is the direct link but I dont think its going to let you view it.

I'm using some cheapo stuff from good ole Wal-Mart. It's lightweight (as in 5# total) and cheap ($35 to cover the interior back to the rear hump). I'll put it in when the cage is done. I used a roll in the Mustang we used to have @ the shop and it looks real good when you take the time to lay it properly.

I'm not running a center console either. My Pro Stick is angled towards the driver seat and there was no way to make it look good w/ the console in place. The old pics from the initial mockup are here:
http://www.quarter-mile.net/images/TA/interior/

I thought I had some newer interior pics, but I think they're still on the camera...at the shop.

Got my carpet yesterday and it wasnt cut for the console. I didnt like the look without the console though so I put it back in, it was 20lbs less then my stock carpet with all the padding still on ot.
