Not one thats NHRA legal. You can get a Wolfe 6pt with the removeable cross bar option so you can still use the back seat, but bar must be welded in to be legal. Check out Wolfe's site there's lots of good pics in there.

yup nothing that's gonna be legal is gonna let you use the back seat.

i've had a few people who really needed a ride contort themselves over the bars and into my back seat and sit cross legged(i have downbars, too). that was pretty funny to watch.

I think I would've just climbed in through the back.

Even though it wouldn't be legal by the book, do you think some tech guys would let it go?

The rear seat is about as useless as you can get in these cars as it is. I finished my rollbar and the only that gets back there is my son, he loves it BTW. Attached pic doesnt have the seat installed, but it fits in there and works. PITA for a grown up to get in, unless your like my buddy Drew778, who is about 5' or something

no can do. i don't have hatch struts anymore. wolf notched the bar so that the rear bars are too far over and the struts hit on them. we didn't notice this until after it was welded in, guess i assumed since they jigged the thing to fit in an F body they struts would have been taken into account when they marked the weld points, oh well.

and yes, i hold my hatch up wiht a friggin broomstick when i want to put my t tops in or out and i'm by myself lol.

Thanks Ghost, there was about 6 of us IIRC that ordered 6pts. I offered to paint them pre-weld, so ended up painting 2 others and my own. After seeing 2 installs gone wrong, one you couldnt put the plastic rear panel back in as it was welded too close, the other burnt carpet/headliner/etc, my buddy and I went to town. My car was first, stripped it one Friday night, Sat welded it up. I placed the bars, first to be legal, second was to be able to remove the rear seat and slide in front skinnies and rear drags with tools etc. Everything came out perfect. So we then did another buddies (1BADHWKs husbands WS6) car, same results, just a little quicker since it was all measured. Kind of nice was forming some of the plates to allow the carpet to relax and not have any issues, torch and BFH resulted in the below shot, the plates being formed to the natural body contour, which ultimately adds strength to the welded perimeter. Oh yeah, one friends car, welded by a "pro-welder" resulted in fuel lines torched and a helluva hassle trying to get reimbursed!

Soon we'll have to add some cute little bars to the front and top

Oops, that pic on left above shows how a lot of 6" pads were welded, leaving only a little weld around the perimeter, the below is how Ryan and I made it right.

yup. we did the same thing. BFH'd the plates to mold to the floor. here i'll toss up a few pics i took of the thing when i stipped the interior back out to re do everything a couple months ago. you can see in two of the pics the plates for the hoop nicely molded to the floor

just curious...is there a reason why everyone pays the extra money to get a 6-point when a 5-point will do?? that is one less bar to pay for and have to mess with. Just wondering.

Ghost, looks nice, great minds work a like!

Cain, for me its a matter of rigidness. The 5pt will have a slight bit more flex. Also I like the uniformity of the 6pt with increased safety. Besides that, I will be adding the front half kit later this summer to convert to a Cage.

Gold, Is that leather custom wraps for your rollbar padding? I was looking at doing that....until my deployment!

It's a vinyl which is made to look and feel like leather but which doesn't require the upkeep of leather.
