Default anyone drag racing a pro shifted t56? what clutch?

i just sent my tranny up to liberty to have the proshift it, i can't wait for this setup, i have driven a few p/s cars and they're sick feeling. my question is what clutch is anyone running this setup using? probably 800-1000 rwhp when set on kill. maybe excedy or mcleod makes something that would be preferable? thanks for any info or opinions.

I'm doing the same thing, just waiting on 2nd gear from liberty. I'm going with a SPEC stage 5 iron disc. supposed to be good for 1000rwtq.

everyone i've talked to has said that the spec just wont hold up to that kind of torture. i guess it wouldn't hurt to just get one and if it does hold up i'm good, and if it doesn't i can move on to a ram or something. are you building your trans yourself 383? i was planning on sending mine to liberty to have them do it for me, i'm not sure if there are to many people down here that are clued in on building a t56.

they said a stage V wouldn't hold up to that much??

I'm not doing it myslef. Liberty did the gears and a local place is doing the install.

i might just get one for the mean time, and if it works out i'll keep it, and if it blows up i'll just get an exedy or whatever.
