Lightbulb ***Did I forget anyone? Step inside for a sec.***

Hey guys I'm trying to come up with a list of weight specs for different manufacturers of A-arms and K-members. Mainly because most of the vendors list the total weight savings for the combined package. I just want to know what each part weighs, so I can decide which vendor to go with. Below are the following companies I have emailed to see if they can tell me what their A-arms weigh as a set or individually and the same for their K-member both in mild steel and cro-moly if they make it.

FYI my car currently sits at 2980 lbs without driver. I am wanting to remove as much weight as possible off the front of my car so I'd figure I'd start with getting the lightest suspension pieces available. I currently run BMR pieces but they are mild steel so I'm sure I can lose some more weight by going to cro-moly.

If any of you guys have any of the pieces from the manufacturers below please post up if you weighed any of them.

These are the folks I have asked so far and currently waiting for their responses.

AJE

BMR- A-arms 20lbs(pair), K-member 26lbs

Pro Fab

PA Racing

Spohn- A-arms MS 19lbs (pair) CM 17lbs(pair)

If there are any others I am missing please post up their name even if they only make the A-arms and not the K-member or vice versa.

I have both upper and lower BMR a-arms. In your list, it says 20 lbs. per pair, is that for uppers or lower? I never weighed my pieces. I see that Spohn are 3 lbs. lighter. Did you get the weight of Spohn's k-member or does he make one yet?

I didn't see a k-member on Spohns site. The A-arms weights are actually just for the lowers.

I checked Spohn's site and they dont make a k-member, but I thought I read here somewhere that he's suppose to be making one soon. I see that he makes both uppers and lowers both in mild and chromoly steel. $55 upgrade for the uppers and $100 upgrade for the lowers.

BMR uppers are actually alittle heavier then stock upper control arms. LOL

I weighed both of them. The BMR is more rigid though.

Are you sure? I don't see how they would be. Did you measure them both without the ball joint?
