Default Questions for guys running manual brakes.

Just wondering how many of you guys are driving with manual brakes on the street. If I want to keep the stock set up I'm going to have to add a vacuume canister or pump so I think I'm just going to say screw that and go with a manual set up. Is it a pain in the *** driving with them? This car isn't a daily driver but it will see plenty of street miles. Any input would be great.

Thanks,
Andrew

I have alot of customers that drive these on the street. As long as you redrill the pedal for the proper ratio they wrok fine.

Cool, is there any general rule of thumb of how much higher I should drill, or a proper angle? I asume the Strange Master will come with some info but you never know.

I drilled the hole in the brake pedal arm 1" higher than the stock hole location. It gives the plunger arm a better angle of attack, or a straighter shot, at the master cylinder.

So how do you get the pedal assembly out? I have M6 pedals.

That could be tough. Space and line of sight is at a premium.

I hve done it in the car at the track with a full cage in the car. It is a pain. Usually I pull the pedal assembly which means the steering column.
