Bias ply rear, radial front... how bad?
Like the topic says, how bad is a slick rear and radial front really? 130+ car experience only, please. I hate to have to buy another set of wheels, but if it means keeping me out of a wall I will. The car is an rx-7 that is actually on more of a roadrace suspension. Tire will be ~27x10.5.
A second question... how much am I giving up if I go for the ET street instead of the ET drag?

I am on as large of a mickey thompson radial as I can get in there and I am no where even near hooking, so a BFG is definitely out of the question.

Ive been a tire tecnician for discount tire and been racing for years now. Ive raced with Bias ply in the rear and radial in the front its very scary all the way down the track. Just got the new mickey drag radials, they are the ultimate solution. im cutting 1.7 60' times and have the stock torque arm lol. Very Very sticky and no bull ****. hopefully my opinion helps. later.
