Hawker Battery
I just got done installing the PC680, but I have a question, when the car is running the volt guage jumps around (I have a 98 model so the guage works) and I can see the lights get dimmer and then brighten up. I checked all my connections, everything is tight, any ideas on what the problem is?

Sounds more like an alternator problem like I had once. I had a small independent shop rebuild mine years ago, and they put the wrong parts in. At idle, my gauge and lights would do as you describe. When I would bring the rpms up, the gauge would stay at 13. Just a thought.

I thought about that but the only thing is everything was fine till immediately after I hooked this battery up, I am wondering if the surface area of the connections on the new battery is not enough (only about the size of a dime) and uses 6mm screws to hold the wires on. I was hoping someone using one of these batteries would chime in and give a little more info. I may go ahead and buy the terminals that screw into the battery and give it a little better fit.

I have that battery and no issues like that and I do not use washers on the terminal. I do however want to order a set of the adapters that screw into the 6mm hole and uses a "stock" type bolt into that.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it really bothers you.
