A M/T drag radial will sixty foot within a tenth of a full slick IF setup properly. There are people with 1000+hp cars running in the 7s @ 185 mph+ in the 1/4 mi. with this tire.. With that being said, they will do you just fine.

Ive gone 1.71 with a 3600 Midwest stall. They are badass on the track and on the street. When I go to do a burnout, they start gripping so hard my car bogs completely down and wont spin them @ 16psi in the tires. I run 255/50/16's. 5k miles, 17 drag passes and >60% tread left.

FYI, I just called Mickey Thompson. They are coming out with 295/50/16 ET Street Radials in the spring. The guy said they will be just under 28" tall, and about 11.5" wide. I don't think they will fit stock 16x8 wheels though, I forgot to ask.

I Have a pair 325-50-15
The only time I got the to hook on a launch I snapped the main output shaf on my t-56
But my Buddie with his mach one cuts low 1.5-high 1.4 auto
on his cobra cut 1.6's with a stick I know a guy with a 02 ZO6 cuts low 1.5's with a stick. Once I get her to hook probably be a 15 something.
