congrats tom and tony thats an awesome pic by the way tony what kind of camera are you using and any tips on taking some good photos

Canon Digital Rebel XT, 8.0 mpx. I shot that with a Canon EF-S 10-22 wide angle lens and a circular polarizer filter. The action shots were snapped standing about 4 feet away from the car. On static shots, I use a tripod and a wire-operated trigger switch. This camera sells for around $700 new now, the lens is around $700. I also use a Canon zoom lens with image stabilization for still shots at a distance.

Got the new issue last night.....congrats Tom!

BTW, are you running a 10" or 12" rear wheel with that 315 drag radial? Somebody (cough..Tony...cough) didn't mention it in the article.
