Power windows weigh less than crank windows....

Im assuming that is why you want to change them...

When you say "these cars" do you mean all 4th gens or just LS1 cars?

I believe you but I'm just can't fingure out how the switch panel, wiring, and window motor can come in let then a hand crank operation.

All 4th gens... The weight of the regulator for the hand crank is what makes the difference. Madman has weighed them all...

Guess I get to keep my power windows in the name of weight reduction.
