Wait so, i havent really looked at anyof this but, your saying if i take my front bumper off, i can just pull out that baffel looking thing, and it weighs 20 pounds, and then i can rebolt my bumper on? Or do i have to make custom brackets?....

I don't know about all models, but if you look at this picture:

You'll see there's three bolts per frame rail that they attach to. Basically there's bolts of the back of the support and 6 nuts total. They have a slight up and down play in them, but I don't see why you're looking for adjustablility?

I dont understaing why it messes up your car so bad without this foam. If you dont cut off the supports then theres still some solid metal there incase of an impact. Also on a 2000 trans am if you take out the foam, yo can still keep your foglights right?

I'm right in between Peoria and Bloomington in Mackinaw. Where do you usually run at? I would love to see that car in person.

Just took my front bumper support out tonight. That thing was HEAVY! Glad I finally did this! I noticed that the lower rad support only supports the radiator at two points on the outside. Has anyone trimmed this thing down?

I'm sure some people have, but I decided to leave that for strength purposes. When I cut my frame horns I angle cut them so the shroud would still be attached to the frame:

I'm sure you could hole saw the hell out of it though. I don't know if that would have any aero effects on how it's supposed to operate though.

I weighed what I cut off the frame horns today. Bringing the total weight removed from my 1993 to:

Front Bumper Support = 25.375 lbs
Fog lights and brackets = 4.0625 lbs
Frame horns = 5.125 lbs

TOTAL = 34.5625 lbs

Are you talking about the sub fenders under the fenders? I plan on taking the holesaw to them soon. Do you have any pics of how you cut under the battery?
