I run SS wheels on it.

Thats asking for trouble......

a Bias ply tire up front and a non bias bly out back is asking for it......

It can be done the other way..... IE a drag radial out back and a non bias ply up front.. ie a ET drag front...

The reason i say this is the car starts to walk like crazy..... esp. on a M6 car....

I've run a 16" Z28 rim up front (and out back when I drove the car around) for the past couple of years. I just haven't had the money to dish out for the Strange drag brakes and Bogart skinnines to go on the front of my car. Other things keep eating up my play money whenever I get around to buying the skinnines. Maybe this will be my year though.

Stability is highly dependent upon (rear) tire pressure. I run ET Streets and 255/50R16 fronts and trap above 115. My car is very stable with the rears above 21 psi. Mixing bias-ply and radial tires is obviously more problematical on faster cars.

I have run DRs out back and street tires up front
but I've since switched to DRs and Skinnies for the weight reduction and stability.
It never quite felt right driving around like that.

I have never had stability issues at all with mine but they are 17'' though.
I run about 18lbs in the rear. and max air pressure in the front.
The car has always been very stable. You would not even notice it had ET streets if you didnt see them. It drives just like the stock tires but hooks alot better than stock tires. When I change to 15'' in the back I will run bp tires though all the way.

I also have a lot of weight reduction which also probley makes for a more stable ride. If it was heavier It might show up??
