Default Anybody have a rear airbag?

Is anybody using an airbag in your rear spring if so how much air do you have in yours. A man at the track said he put 45psi in his that seemed like alot to me.

Also I was wondering if anybody knew the limit on how much air you could put in it?

I'm putting one in my rear right spring when I go to re-install them in the next few days. Also not sure as to how much pressure to run at the track. I figure I'll just figure out what works best for me.

I used to run one before I got the Spohn drag bar. I used to put between 20-22lbs in it.

I have used as much as 25 psi in mine then have dropped it down to 12 psi with no noticeable difference. If I forget to air it up at the track I will drop 3 hundreths off 60 ft times.

In our application the air bag setting is a reflection of how loose the front end is set. If we don't have enough air in the bag the car will tend to move to the right or spin the tires on launch. We ran the IHRA points race at Mooresville last weekend and had ten 1.33 sixtys in a row in air from 2000-2800 feet.

Good Luck,

Daren
