Default *Update to Mufflers off headers*

I switched out the Borla XR1's back the the Magnaflow 4x9's to quieten it down some for the neighbors.
Never mind the fluid (overfilled the tranny) and the shop that put them on for me decided not to use the band clamps I provided for them and weld them to the headers

I will get a video up tomorrow since the weather is crappy today.

That shop would be buying me some new ******* headers. That's why I always lean over those guys when I have exhaust work done.

There were not many choices here to work on my exhaust
I had to leave it with him overnight and couldn't keep an eye on anything. When I went to pick it up he wasn't there and there was really no need to pitch a fit after the damage was already done. They are just $400 headers not Kooks

going from bullets to these mufflers, i'd say confidently it cut the sound in half, even though they are still straight through mufflers. that was on my car

The driver's side took most of the BFH modding. Mainly The part of the frame that crosses right where the header ends and the exhaust pipe starts. There are a few more spots, but nothing extreeme. The Borla XR-1's were shorter so they tucked up even nicer, but I wanted something quieter. I will post comparison videos between the Borla and Magnaflow setups soon

It's hard to tell the difference in loudness, but sounds great and looks like they tucked up nicely.

Did it quiet down significantly over the Borla XR1s?

Yes they are quieter. They have a deeper more mellow sound than the XR1's.
