Default Would Kevlar drag racing seats be rice?

The carbon fiber is back ordered so they offered me these at the same price (they are normally about $75 more a seat than the carbon ones):

They only weigh 11lbs a seat Would they be too ricey? My car is pewter so it might actually match a little!

How would they be considered any more "rice" than carbon fiber seats? I kind of like them, what brand and model, PM me if need be. Thanks,

Larry

econo drags weigh 15lbs for the 17.5" model

The seat pictured is 18.5" and 11 pounds.

Look close at the pic and you can see where they are from

What's the difference between the S58 and S68? They look very similar to me. Just looks like the S58 has more padding in area where your back rests.

im not positive but it seems like the s68 is a more all out "race" version of the seat. and by no means would i consider that rice. those are some badass seats - put my corbeau forza's to shame lol

The S68 is too wide to fit in a camaro with a cage.

And to the guy who says they look uncomfortable.....you have to be nuts to assume they are not more comfortable than a kirkey. These seats have heat sensitive memory foam for cryin' out loud!

Well, the kirkey seats just look like a piece of sheet metal with a pad over it. These actually look like they have some padding to them.
