Lightweight carpet.
Not really worried just wondering in case I go to one of those events.. there's carpet, actually interior still looks like a car for the most part, hell the whole thing does until you really look ( like pop the hood, or look behind the dash, or under the car LOL )

3050 wow, I wish I had my car down to that weight. I'm estimating I'm at about 3440 or so with my 275 lbs in the car...... I'm at the point where I have to start hacking stuff, or buy the LW stuff. LW stuff is the winter's plan at this point.
I haven't hacked anything and won't. I don't want the car to look crappy if I ever decide to sell it. It has all been done with chrome moly suspension parts and the usual weight reduction. If you click the pic in my signature, it has a link to my FQuick page with all of the crap I've taken out. I still have to do a chrome moly k-member, a-arms, lightweight brakes, spooled fab 9", and remove the HVAC. I would like to get it down to right under 3000 with my 175lb *** in it.
you've got 100 lbs on me so that's about 1/4 of the weight you've got on me there... how much lighter are camaro's then transam's? my car is a full ws6 car, only part that's really left of that is the hood which I knwo is lighter then s stock transam steel hood but not by much. I've done alot of the weight reduction, still on stock k member and a arms, and still have the stock braking system on the car including the abs but that's all gonna go at once along with the k member and a arms, and a manual rack and manual master cylinder.

looks like im going to hobby lobby. I checked out the stuff at home depot and it was kinda $. So i decided to just skin the underside for now.
my car weights in now at 3240 with me in (125lbs) and a half tank of gas. Inside looks near stock minus back seats. All ac and heater componets have been removed, along with other random stuff and bumper brackets. Still on stock k member as well.

So are you guys with the ozite carpet using floor mats? I had some lightweight carpet similar to the ozite stuff in my Camaro and it turned to **** pretty quick in the footwell area. It was glued down but the carpet material starts to fuzz up pretty nasty.

The problem with the ozite is that it doesnt have any backing.. its kinda like gluing an afro to your floor i thought.. this stuff i got from hobby lobby did have a backing somewhat, as if it was laid down in a glue. one side was fuzzy and one side was smooth...Not sure of the item number, im gonna have 2 look... ill let you know
that hobby lobby stuff doesn't look bad... ya need to seam it in the back to get rid of some od the wrinkles and it will look pretty good.
Matt I use a floormat on the drivers side with my ozite
