Default 26" or 28" tire (Cam, t56, 4:11's)

I am going to be running a set of 15x10 weld draglites, just wondering what size tire i should go with, i think that i am going to run a MT et drag radial, just let me know what size i should run.....also looking for something that will tuck and will take no modding of the fenders or bumper

If you are going with the new M/T DR, I would suggest the 275-60-15 - they are 28x11.5x15 - 9.5 tread. They "should" fit without any problem. Possible a little BFH mod. You'll need the 28" and the wider tread. Unless you think you can fit the 325x50x15 - a big *** tire that will need a lot of work to make fit.

The hoosier qtp 27" tire fit's pretty nice and hooks well plus it's a good size with 4.11s and your power level. I ran that when I was making 408rwhp and it kept me in 3rd with the a4 through the 1/4. I also had true duals, f-14 and 4.11s, other than the transmission our set-ups were very close.

If you go 28''tire it will make your 4.11 more like a 3.73. Why do you want a radial tire? Is this going to be your daily drive/track tire? if not look at the M&H racemaster cheeter slick www.intercotire.com I run the 26x11.5x15 w/4.11 gear and cut 1.42 60's on motor. I could even spray out of the hole a 150 shot and dead hook. my bud on a stock suspenchion w/4.11's will cut 1.55-1.59 60's all day on the M&H at a redneck track(not the best prep). Goodluck to ya.

They are a wrinkle wall, you should run tubs. I've ran tubs for a long time, there is no problem with them. I tried hoosier,et streets and et drags and on my car the M&H out hooked them all.

I have run 26" ET drag & ET street and 28" ET drags all without tubes. You will be fine running a 26" tire with the 4.11's but will be cutting it close if you spray .

Most of the stick car guys around here like the 28" tire because of the how hard they hit the tires at launch...either the 275 60s or the 325 50s...The 275 60s seem to fit with zero or minimal mods...the 325s are a different story...

you crack me up sammy. i say go with a 28in tall tire. but i know how picky you are about harming your car, so go with the 275/50 tire its a 26in tire and you wont have to do nothing.

With the 27" hoosier, you won't have to cut the bumper or roll the fenders. You may have to use the bfh on the fender wells if they are rubbing and you also may need to lose the bump stops. I had to bang the wells for a little extra clearance and I also got rid of the bump stops. I had adjustable lcas but I just used them to center the wheel, they were not nessisarly needed. Now I have the 28" hoosiers and they fit the same way but I wouldn't risk it without the adjustable lcas because there is only about 1/2" clearance on both sides of the bumpers. So far I have not had to cut the bumper or roll the fenders, those were the two things I was not willing to do.
