In the middle of doing this as we speak....grinding isn't so bad...the problem I have is no air compressor so putting the lugs on by hand to test fit is getting OLD! Cant wait for the finished result....brb I have to go and grind right now!

FWIW, used an electric grinder with 40 grit...shaved the calipers down in no time! I was dreading grinding down my calipers, but I would not hesitate to ever do it again. I'd rather do this then exhaust ANY day! Seriously would have only been a two hour job had I had an air compressor...

Proper tools make a huge difference no doubt.

I am dealing with the opposite. i have a 7/16 spacer on the front and have grounded a ton and im not even close. the rears i used 5/16 spacer and still had to grind a little. not near as much as the fronts. these are weld prostars. can someone post a pics of the fronts and how much they had to grind?

Glad you brought that up I was only cutting 1.5 60fts on 200 shot and stock studs on rear kept bending. No one believed me.

Where can I find a write up for putting lt1 rear brakes on an ls1 car? I don't want to run spacers and I can't grind any further on these ls1 calipers...
