After 5 hours we got this....
Center frame rails are in
Center X is in
Rear crossmember is in
All of the gussets are cut, just need to find the angles and notch
working around the cage putting the outter bars in. Its a pain cutting the old **** out....

I'm going to have them powdercoated this winter. I was going to change the front setup to spindles but never got around to it.

Are you going to tin and carpet that floor or try and stuff the stock floor back in? From what I have found the only factory floor metal you need (ORTC Only) in an outlaw radial class is behind the driver seat.

We're going to use as little factory sheetmetal as possible.

I'd love to see the car dip into the 4.50s which I think will happen in time, its got the power we just need to get the power management down.

Got 10 gussets cut notched and ready to be welded in
Finished up the front and rear crossmember
I've got 3 bars left to cut, driver diagonal, seat bar and roof X bar.

Dude you must really eat your Wheaties cus you get after it!!! Once again that's some awesome work Phil. Just wondering how are you planning on welding the top of that roof X bar? Are you going to remove the roof again? Man I sure wish I had your energy. All this and a wife and kid!!! Keep up the good work....

I'm trying to get the glass guy to come to the house thursday to pull the glass. I'll cut the roof back off and finish up the top bars. Its very easy to cut and reweld. I usually get up at 7 and work til 9:30, spend 9:30 - 11:30 with the family than off to work. Thursdays/sundays I'll work 7 - 12.

I gotta make a honest statement here. You see the Paul Major's and the like out there getting all kinda attention and credit for well built and very fast cars. And without a doubt those are some very cool cars. But it's guys like this that get my utmost respect. Get up very early in the morning, bust your butt getting what you can done on your car, spend quality time with the family then off to work. Now to me this is just down right fricken amazing. Dude you are great example for what the little man can achieve. to you and Shawn for a car that's going have some of the top dogs :and out to you down.

Keep up the good work!!!

Got the last floor bars cut and started the welding process on the floor, I guess I am 50% done. I figured I'd weld the bottom first since its the hardest.
