That is one of my all time favorite colors. It looks great on mustangs or any car for that matter. I was just thinking of painting my fox coupe that color a few days ago. But I have lots of time to think about it as I don't plan on painting it for a few years. My main goal is to get it NHRA legal and up and running the way I want it. Then I'll work on painting it in the off season!!
I say paint it the gun metal grey. You will be very pleased with it. But DON'T do it in a single stage. It will not look as good as bc/cc will. And you can not buff a single stage metallic. It screws up the metallic grain of the paint. Due to wet sanding the surface. It leaves sanding streaks in the metallic.

I was going to do a gunmetal but its no secret that almost all drag radial turbo cars will meet mr concrete wall at some point. I like the fact that the black will be easy to match while the gunmetal may be a PITA. I plan on using the single stage only in the trunk, engine bay and the cage.

I Agree With The Cobra Front Bumper......black With The Alumastars Centers Black..... Also, Tell Your Dad Not To Worry About Buffing The Back Bumper Too Much, Probally Will Get Repainted Soon.......lol Looks Good
