You might be right but you remember the boost was down 3# last time we went out. I chalked it up to the wastegate seat, starting to wonder if there were 2 problems. That was the 1st time out with the v-bands/new piping. In the end you might be right but I am going to pull the intake pipes and IC tomorrow to give it a good once over.

Phil, Im sure youve thought about this, and probably have done it, etc.

But isnt their a way you could just pressure test you cold side with it all still hooked up??

From maybe just the throttle body? This way you can test all the clamps and everything?? Maybe capping off the turbo inlet and test it all the way?

Yeah, I worked on some ideas yesterday but it would take too much time and some of the parts aren't local. It would be easier to pull them off and checkem.

Boost leak was an o-ring on the firewall, the o-ring had somehow been cut in half. replaced the o-ring and on a just warmed up motor made 5.5# of boost. Little better than the 3.8# from yesterday.

Hopefully all will go well tomorrow. So far the only issue we had was the o-ring. (knock on wood) I am going to change the tranny fluid and get her buttoned up. Its like 99% there.

Good luck tomorrow. Watching the rebuild has been painfully long...for us viewers...no doubt much longer for you. Keep her in one piece and give her hell.

Thanks guys, got the golf cart and car loaded up. Tomorrow we're heading to MIR and the track is always on kill. I've got a tune up in her that should work out to a 1.20-1.24 60' and hopefully mid 150s out the back door. Alot of the car remains unchanged, Madman has the suspension setup dialed in, the car is exactly where we want it on the scales, the motor should make more torque making it easier to get through the 60'l with less change in boost. Shawn is making the 3 hour trip up from virginia beach to handle the BS3 tuneups, I'll handle the power management, Madman is on call for the suspension, brian sanford and tony blanchard are going to help with between round maintenance. Should be a great night, we usually get 6 clean hits on a killer track.

Those damn o rings will **** you off sometimes. I had a porsche turbo s that had a boost leak from an o ring a few weeks back that would only go 12lbs. Car ran ok, but fixed the leak and car would hurt you. It would go 18lbs. Good luck to you guys. Hope you get some good testing. I know its been a long road for us just watching and can only imagine how longer it has been for you. Good luck and get us some vid's.

Good luck Phil. I was hoping to make the drive down today but work is a little crazy. Hope the car runs strong and uneventfully.
