Only update is not a good one. With work clamping down on hours and the stress of trying to run a house with 2 kids, there are not enough hours in a day to do everything.

I started last week parting out the mustang. Still going through and making a list of what I have to get rid of. Here is what I know I have...
2 - 60mm tial wastegates $900 pair
2 - Tial blow off valves $300 pair
2" LSx turbo headers with EGTs $1200 add crossover and wastegates for $1100
- Stefs dry sump tank and oil filter mount $500(dual 12s in and single 12 out/big filter)
- stock car products 5 stage dry sump($500) BB pump
- AMS-1000 and bump box $900
- BS3(Methanol/16 injector, SR2, traction control, Promag 44) $xxx
- Turbowerx turbo scavenge pump $150
- FIE crossover box $45
- RCD right angle drive with billet clamp $600
- Waterman 19gpm fuel pump $1050
- MSD pro-mag 44 - $1600(9 passes)
- MSD pro-mag 44 coil - $500(9 passes)
- MSD 8147 pro-mag 44 points box $600
- Powerglide + 10.5" converter $3000
- 9 Moran 500# injectors
- 8 Precision 225# injectors
- Aeromotive #13113 Fuel pressure regulator $175 includes 4 - 8 fittings and 10 fitting
- FIE crank trigger and MSD flying wheel $xxx

Good luck Phil. There comes a time for a lot of us where the juice is no longer worth the squeeze.

Time to move on to other adventures.

It seems like you had this project rolling along very well before you switched to methanol and the mag set up........then once that happen it seems like the problems kept getting the best of you to the point of you getting tired of dealing with it and the money it was taking.

Do you think that had you avoided those changes the turnout would be a little different, or is it just time to move on?

Just interested in hearing your opinion of trying to run a mag with efi.

Na, it had nothing to do with the mag or money. It was all about work hours and family. If I had the schedule I had last year, we would not be in the situation.
