Made some progress this morning....

- Had to take alittle material off the converter snout flexplate side where it fits into the flexplate, had some binding once intially installed
- pulled the oil pan and and installed the starter
- Installed the converter/trans/driveshaft

Starting on the topside now...

Got the intercooler mount done and the engine IC tube 90% done, one weld left. Also got the IC feed tube 75% done. We're almost ready to make some hits.

go practice launching!

Car's looking good Phil, just wondering why you rear mounted the intercooler, i can think of a couple (closer to tank, weight distribution), but i'm not entirely sure.

Weight distribution mostly. With an Iron LSx, Billet support, turbo, Water pump, radiator blah blah blah its right on the edge of where I want it to be. Moving the intercooler takes 40# off the nose of the car and moves the F/R to a point where I can add ballasts to get it dead nuts on a sticky track or remove for a slick track. Right now we've got 175# all over the car.
