Kyle,
Yeah, we'll be out on the 24th where we'll put the new strategies into play. I have a feeling that this friday could be just like last year @ the test and tune @ MIR. From the logs, the car is making an absurd amount of steam. We need to pickup 34/35mph per second to go 165 in 4.6 seconds, our logs were interesting to say the least.

so basically, the harder he hits it, the better the suspension/tire setup, as a whole, works? makes sense. good luck phil

You need one of these...
http://www.google.com/url?q=http://w...MEZnbECYEHVNWQ
A lot of real fast guys are using these to dial in the car. You can get a roll cage mount for in car or the supplied suction cup for checking out the leave.
I was talking with Holcomb motorsports about them, he stated this was one of the best data collection items he has used in recent years, and has been over 200 mph with the standard suction cup!

^ A local guy has one of those and tapes a lot of street races with it. It's actually really cool to watch.

This week's upgrades are almost done, we've tightened up the converter, fixed a couple of small issues and we're ready to make some hits. I am very excited to see if the data/tuneup from friday really holds.

Couple of pics of the dry sump and fuel pump. The belt guards I added to the fuel pump were too thick so I decided to only use one on the rear of the pump since the front of the pulley rides next to the damper. We had to drill and tap the pully for a m10 x 1.5 and shorten up the bolts. I'm going to add a mechanical fuel & oil pressure guage sunday since we're having soo many problems trying to get the racepak to work with the autometer senders.
