Got some more work done this morning...

- Motor plates clearanced and ready to go into the car
- Dry sump mount modified
- headers are bolted up and all of the EGTs fit now(had to grind the valve cover and bend the EGT probe)
- Had to move the MSD crank trigger back 1" due to the shorter crank
- picked up new bolts for the mandrel

ordered all of the new fittings and hose(-6) for the new water vapor system on the Mozez heads and some stuff to redo the radiator. Post some updated pics soon.

Do you have an ETA for when you'll be making test hits Phil?

I'm curious what you are doing with the holes in the front of the heads, pumping coolant in, or adding another relief....?

Looks great! Are you getting the intake reworked or having a new one made?

Threaded freeze plugs... o.k. Interesting that I haven't noticed those holes in other pictures of the mozez head that I've seen, must have missed that.

looks like you didn't have to modify the valve covers to clear the rockers. I broke down and bought a set from carry.

Nope, valve covers fit perfect. Not to bad for 300 bucks.

Phil, what did you coat your headers with? Is that jet hot coating or? And did you back flow the welds on your headers? I assume your headers get very hot so I was wondering how yours are holding up.... I might want to do the same thing if it's working.

Took 2 shots at getting the motor shoehorned inbetween the frame rails, failed both times. The motor is just too big. LOL! I need to notch the frame rails.
