I got the turbo and radiator mounted, cut a hole in the firewall outside the frame rail for the intercooler pipe. Last year I ran the IC pipe next to the valve covers and it made it a hassle to pull and change plugs. Now I am going to run it right next to the passenger side frame rail.

Mark sent me a mounting boss to put the water pump on the radiator, still need to do alittle work on the drill press to mount the water pump to the 1/4" billet flange.

I centered the turbo up front and rotated the turbine housing so the elbow coming into the turbo will be centered between the frame rails, cone engineering has a collector and some transitions to go from the 3" collectors to the 2.5" tubing for the crossover tube.

5" turbo Y pipe to 4" dual exhaust

looks good...are you going to cut the ears off of the radiator? doesn't look like you're using them...

hopefully that "point" in the middle of your merge don't burn thru from the exhaust

is that the RPS turbo mount flange?

Yes, I'll cut the ears off before it goes in for the last time, its a 14g tube and with the filler adding to the thickness it shouldn't be a problem, others have ran the same setup without any issues. Yep, same flange from RPS.

BullhornsTTFMF!

In all seriousness though, I was talking to some guys down in Georgia back in February about the bullhorns on their car. They said they scaled the car back at their shop, and the car weighed 3300LBS. They brought the car up on the transbrake with normal exhaust coming out the fenders, and the car still scaled 3300LBS. They brought the car up on the brake and built boost, and the scales showed 3600LBS! They said they werent sure how much the horns were helping, but knew they werent hurting anything!

Thats one reason why I said that the chassis needed to be adjusted accordingly but its not as simple as taking x off the front or rear.

I've been fighting my welder all week and finally found the problem, my regulator was going bad, so I replaced it today and the aluminum came around just fine...

Marcella aint got **** to worry about, I am just a hobbyist. Considering that was my first bead today and I didn't really warm up or try to get into a good dap-move rhythm so I'm happy. I was worried that I lost my aluminum skillz.

As far as settings, 125amps, 80Hz , 68 balance, orange tungsten, 3/32 filler, 14g tubing, gas lense #9. I think the wide cleaning action is a combination of the 80 hz and the 68 balance.
