Spent all morning welding...forgot to take pics of the transition Welds still need to be wiped down with acetone to get rid of the some of the white residue.

Turned the welder all the way up and added a v-band to the compressor. I should have worked longer on the surface of the turbine, the welds had just aslight bit of junk.

ey Phil, a few friends were talking about how much it cost to run 6's.

I recall you saying at one point you had like 33k or 45k into the car total....

Wondering roughly what you total is now a days.

Thanks,
Brian

Good luck with it. Ed
set it up like a fender exit with a rotating bezel for adjustability but set it up so the minimal amount of pipe is sticking out past the fender. the majority of the pipe would be hidden in the fender well but would get the same effect. you would still have horns but not visibly

question is...how much of the work can you do yourself...what gets expensive is

1-- Motor (you're going to have to pay here...get the right shop and the right parts from the get go or you'll be paying more later...trust us on this)
2-- Have a good game plan and stick to it...changing things mid-build gets expensive
3-- general fabrication...just the cagework of this caliber can cost you upwards to 10K...knowing how to weld/fabricate can save you TONS of money.

alot of people miss just how much money is saved if you do it/fabrication your self... its time consuming as hell especially if you have a full time job on top of it.

I use the same one...its a nice welder...big bonus is that it only needs 30A protection.

I've had mine for 6 years, used it on and off. I love it so far.
