Got my NHRA competition number
Decided to get a number & stop cleaning up the shoe polish, I'm gonna do the number on the upper right windshield & on the left side of the hatch window. What size numbers/letters do I need?
Also whats a good dial in board?

keep in mind permanent numbers and class designations (aka stick-ons) are only required at NHRA national and divisional meets. Regular TNT and bracket races don't require it and I just use Geddex Write-on for easy removal. Just make sure if you do use permanent stuff to check tracks you will be running for where the tower is (exmaple: one track may have the tower on the right side, while another may be on the left, and that will require you to get a full set of numbers).

At GLD they want the numbers on the front & rear windows - at US41 they want it on the pass side & rear - at Byron they want it on the Dr side & rear
Number placement is dependant on where the track you're racing at has their tower located. If you want to play it safe and be able to go to any track, put numbers on all four windows (as Villain has already alluded to)

If it's a track car, everyone I know puts stickers on all 4. One less silly thing to worry about, when you should be getting the car & your mind ready to race. Just a thought.

Anyone know of a place that sells the numbers and letters that are peel and stick re-usable cling ons? Last two times out it rained on us and I now have the white shoe polish blobs all down the side of car. Pain in the *** to clean.

I went to my local sign shop, they had the static cling vinyl.
They only had white, but I'm out in the middle of no where.
Make sure you tell them to cut them for inside use.
If they get dirty, just clean with rubbing alcohol, it takes the grease off, and didn't ruin the cling.
