315/60/15 drag radials
want to fit 315/60/15's with the car lowered
how much do i need to narrow the 9" rearend, what offset wheels( I think 5" back space) to fit 315/60/15 mickey thompson drag radials. I will be mini tubbing and useing offset lca's
I want the rear tires and rims to tuck inside the fenders, with the car lowered. With an approx ride height 4.5-5" off the ground.
thanks

I have 3 3/4" narrow (with Old style BIG FORD ends...it makes a difference due to axle offset), 1/2" thick rotors (wilwoods for Big Ford), and 15x10x5
Car is down pretty far on 315/60s, limitation is the top of the minitub

stock width and stock location LCA bracket (3 3/4 is as far as you can narrow without narrowing the LCA bracket on the rear)
wilwood 140-0261 brakes. I have the big ford ends that have a 2.36" axle stickout (GM ends use a 2.81" axle stickout)

so the way i understand this, is that i need the big ford ends becouse of the shorter axle offset to be able to tuck the tires fully, correct?
how much space do you have from the sidewall to the sheetmetal on the fender?

Does the driver side spring bracket with the panahard rod get in the way of the tire??
I'm assuming that every one has cut off the stock brackets an used or modded them to work for this

Thanks,
I have a full minitub with 2.5" wide 10" afco springs and adjustable cups, narrowed LCA brackets, Offset Lower control arms with the front moved to the inside of the subframe with custom bracket. Madman Shock relocation and the bottom of the shock tabs have been removed. With a 5" or 4.5" BS wheel i could have saved myself a lot of headaches. Check with your local Custom hotrod/wheel shop to see if the have the wheel fitment tool so you get the right spec'd wheel.
I did the same thing fireball did i just rolled the inside of the front fender and beat on the inside with a BFH and cut the rear of the bumper to make it fit properly.
