i wanted them as far apart as possible but not get in the way if i wanted to put a bigger tire on the car. i figured it would have better stability with them further apart. i can still tuck a 32x16 slick easily. with the 315/60's i have 7" between the inside of the tire and the frrame rail. the frame rails are 28" apart.

Just feel like another tubbed car, besides it will look cool next to my new hayabusa I am saving for, selling all my stock motor and trans stuff to go big inch, auto, back half tube frame. Besides it's nice to go wheels up at a stop light next to some a-hole in an import with his friends in the car revving their fart can up

Should be an interesting project. Why not just buy a Pro Stock chassis kit, then skin your Camaro to hang the body over the chassis? Should be pretty simple..................

LOL I'm keeping all my lights, with the exception of BIG tires on the back and a lot of bars inside the car I am keeping mine as stock looking as possible, side mirrors, turn signals, only thing I am going to that looks race only is the pin on sunoco style cowl hood.

My '67 is painted stock and has stock emblems. Only things not stock appearing are the parachute, 6 inch cowl (hands are tied) and big/little tires. Everyone we run with are that way.
